Our Story:
Sharing Africa’s raw beauty—one unforgettable moment at a time.
This is our story,This is our home, And it is our privilege to invite you into the Africa we know, love, and fiercely protect.
We are an independent, family-founded company, born and raised on this continent.
Our story begins in Kenya, where our childhood was shaped by the long journeys across wild landscapes, close encounters with nature, and a deep, instinctive connection to the land. Africa, to us, has never been a destination it is a way of life.
From those early beginnings we travelled Africa with our dad, a vision took shape: to create journeys that transcend travel. Not simply itineraries, but timeless, deeply personal experiences reserved for those who seek something rare something that cannot be replicated. The kind of journeys that stay with you, long after you have returned home, because those journeys stayed with us.
At Vard Africa, every experience is thoughtfully designed and personally overseen by our founders, Elvis and Warren native Kenyans whose lives are deeply rooted in this land. Their presence ensures that every detail, no matter how small, is handled with precision, discretion, and care.
From your very first enquiry to your safe return home, we remain quietly by your side anticipating needs before they arise, refining every element, and providing seamless, round-the-clock support.
But there is something more personal in this story too, we built Vard Africa as a family and we built it to be one. The kind of brand where the people inside it genuinely love what they do and where they do it. Where the guides feel like custodians, not employees. Where our partners feel like collaborators, not vendors. Where our guests, by the end of their journey, feel less like clients and more like people who have been welcomed into something real and made meaningful friendship’s and relationships.
Our philosophy is simple, yet uncompromising: pursue excellence in everything, and settle for nothing less than exceptional.
A family. A brand. A promise made not just to our guests, but to Africa itself.
